Information We Collect

Account and Membership Information

When you register, manage your account or purchase a membership, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address and account credentials.

We also maintain information about your membership, subscription status, account preferences and transactions so we can provide access to the services you request.

If you register or sign in using Google, we receive the information described in the Google Sign-In section below.

Artwork and Design Information

When you use our design tools, we process the artwork, images and other content you upload, together with information needed to display, edit, save and download your designs.

This may include saved mockups, artwork placement, garment selections, colours and other design settings. Uploaded content may contain personal information if you choose to include it.

Payment and Order Information

When you purchase a membership or place a physical order, we collect information needed to process the transaction. Depending on the purchase, this may include your name, email address, billing or delivery address, selected products, sizes, quantities and order history.

Payment providers process your payment details. We receive transaction information needed to confirm payments, manage subscriptions, handle refunds and provide support.

For physical orders, we also process the artwork and delivery information needed to produce and ship the items you order.

Support and Communications

When you contact us, we collect your contact details, the contents of your message and any information you provide to help us respond.

If you subscribe to marketing communications, we maintain your subscription preferences.

When you visit Mock It, we may collect your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring websites, timestamps and information about how you interact with our services.

We collect this information through cookies, server logs, analytics tools and similar technologies.

  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Produce, fulfil and deliver physical orders.

Additional restrictions apply to information received through Google Sign-In, as explained below.

Google Sign-In

Google Sign-In is an optional way to register for or sign in to a Mock It account. You can also use our email registration and login options.

Google Information We Access

When you choose to continue with Google, we request access to basic identity information through Google’s authentication process. This includes:

  • Your name.
  • Your email address and its verification status.
  • Your Google account’s unique identifier.
  • Your profile picture or its URL, where available.
  • Authentication information, including tokens used to complete the sign-in process.

We do not receive your Google password. Google Sign-In does not give Mock It access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendar.

How We Use Google Information

We use this information to create your Mock It account, verify your identity, sign you in and maintain the connection between your Google account and your Mock It account.

Where applicable, we use it to associate Google Sign-In with an existing Mock It account.

Your name and email address become part of your account records. We use them to provide the services you request, manage your membership, respond to support enquiries and send necessary account, billing, security and order communications.

Signing in with Google does not, by itself, purchase a membership, start a paid subscription or subscribe you to promotional emails.

Restrictions on Google Information

We do not sell information received through Google Sign-In.

We do not use or share Google Sign-In information for targeted advertising, retargeting, personalised advertising or advertising audience creation.

We do not use Google Sign-In information to develop, improve or train general-purpose or non-personalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

The advertising and marketing practices described elsewhere in this policy do not authorise these uses of Google Sign-In information.

Storage and Protection of Google Information

We use Nextend Social Login within our WordPress website to provide Google Sign-In.

We store account information and the Google account identifier needed to maintain your account connection in our website’s account records. Authentication information is processed by the sign-in integration as needed to authenticate you.

We use HTTPS to protect information transmitted through our website. Access to account records is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who need access to operate, maintain or support Mock It.

Sharing Google Information

Google processes your sign-in request under its own Privacy Policy.

We may share the minimum necessary account information with providers supporting our website hosting, account management and service email delivery.

If you purchase a membership or place an order, relevant account information may also be shared with payment or fulfilment providers to complete that request. We do not provide your Google authentication tokens to fulfilment providers.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate misuse, protect users or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Retention, Disconnection and Deletion

We retain Google-linked account information while it is needed to maintain your account and provide the services you request.

You can request that we disconnect Google Sign-In or delete your account and associated personal information by emailing support@mock-it.co. We may verify your identity before completing the request.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, unless retention is required for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

You can also revoke Mock It’s access through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete your Mock It account or cancel an active membership or order.

How We Share Personal Information

We share information where necessary to operate Mock It and provide the services you request. Recipients may include:

  • Hosting, storage and website infrastructure providers.
  • Account and membership service providers.
  • Payment processors.
  • Email delivery and customer-support providers.
  • Production and shipping providers for physical orders.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, subject to the Google Sign-In restrictions above.

For physical orders, relevant providers receive the artwork, product specifications and recipient information needed to manufacture and deliver your order.

We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, investigate fraud or misuse, protect people and our services, or resolve legal claims.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to support sign-in, remember preferences, maintain website functionality and understand how people use Mock It.

We use Google Analytics to help measure website usage. You can learn about Google’s practices in its Privacy Policy and use its Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We may use advertising technologies to measure campaigns and show relevant advertisements based on website activity. Information obtained through Google Sign-In is excluded from targeted advertising, retargeting and advertising audience creation.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in and other website features.

You can also manage advertising preferences through Google’s advertising settings and Meta’s advertising settings.

Our website does not currently change its practices in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Marketing Communications

Where permitted, we may send news, product updates and promotional offers consistent with your preferences.

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting support@mock-it.co.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary account, security, billing or order communications. Registering with Google does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Data Security

We use HTTPS and restrict access to personal information to authorised personnel and service providers who need it to deliver or support our services.

No website or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Account information and saved content are retained as needed to provide your account and services. Transaction and support records may be retained for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Deleted information may remain in backups until those backups are replaced or expire.

International Processing

Our service providers may process personal information outside your country of residence, where privacy laws may differ.

The restrictions described in this policy, including those applying to Google Sign-In information, continue to apply when information is processed by providers on our behalf.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, obtain a copy, object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

You can contact support@mock-it.co to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.

Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or the information needed to fulfil an active transaction. If we cannot fully fulfil a request, we will explain why.

Account deletion, subscription cancellation and physical-order cancellation are separate requests. If you want to cancel a membership or order, please state this when contacting us.

You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date.

We will notify affected users of material changes to how we access, use, store or share Google user data before those changes take effect. Where required, we will obtain consent before using information for a new purpose.
