# Save and Download Your Mockup

## Save and Download a Mockup

Saving keeps an editable mockup in your account. Downloading creates the finished image file for the current view.

1. Select the view you want to keep, then select **Save mockup** in the canvas toolbar to add an editable copy to Saved Mockups.
2. Select **Download** and choose PNG or JPG.
3. Enable **Transparent background** only when downloading a PNG without the mockup background.
4. Select **Download Mockup** and keep the workspace open while the file is prepared.

## What to Know

The original download uses the format you selected. A separate WebP copy is retained in My Dashboard → Downloads when storage is available.

Download exports only the current view. Switch views and download again when you need several angles.
