# Save and Reopen Your Mockups

## Save Work You Want to Reopen

The workspace keeps saved mockups, not an automatically restored editing session.

1. While a mockup is open, select **Save mockup** in the canvas toolbar.
2. Open **Saved** in the left toolbar to find saved mockups without leaving the workspace. You can also open **My Dashboard → Saved Mockups**.
3. Select a saved mockup to reopen its saved artwork, colours and view settings.
4. Save again after making changes when you want the newer version kept in your account.

## What to Know

If you close an open mockup tab or follow a link away with unsaved changes, choose **Save & close** or **Save & leave** to keep them. You can also keep editing or leave without saving.

Closing the browser tab or window may show the browser’s leave-site warning. It cannot save for you. Unsaved open mockups are not automatically restored when you return.
